Scope & Content In this first of four interviews of Ira Smith, Ira speaks of his days as a cowboy in the early to mid 1900's. He talks about round-ups, carrying a 45 pistol, and raising horses on his own. He met his wife, Elsie, in northern Arizona while working as a cowboy. Elsie speaks about her family travelling to Arizona in a Model T Ford chassis. She and Ira raised two children together.
