Scope & Content Georgiana tells of visiting the Canyon throughout her childhood and staying at various cabins over the years. She recalls what Sedona and the Canyon were like, the great swimming holes, and what the road was like. She recalls some of the families: Thomas, Mayhew, Todd, Babbitt, Thompson, Fronske, and Don Hoel. Her and her husband purchased Todd's Lodge in 1972 and created Garland's Lodge. They later started Garlands Rugs and Garlands Indian Jewelry.
